How to Level up Fast in WoW

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Questing. But thats not all of course. You are probably alerady bored of gays running around and begging for money. Eventhough there are still people who give money to those kind of beggars, its still a waste of time. So, first, what you need is money. I will assume you are an alliance player, since the horde generally doesn’t have any problems levelling fast hehe. Whatever, you sure need to level to level 12 following the quests given in your home region. And when doing those, be sure that you loot everything. You run out of free backpack slots in no time, but that is handled easily once you reach your level 6 town in the middle of the start region where you can buy many other bags. So, at first, save up some money for backpacks, because once you get the other puches and shit, you starto earn more money on each delivery, and continue looting everything. Also that your joruneys for quests will take longer between each visit to the town so you ll be looting many more items. And until level 12 do not be afraid of killing all the mobs that attack you. Kill all of them and loot all of them. Be sure that you are level 6 when you arrive the town in the middle of the region and also be sure you are level 12 when you are ready to leave your region.

Continuing as assuming you are still playing an Alliance character. For fast levelling, you need to be safe, which means you need to be somewhere close that most high levelled people are. As instance, westfall instead of darkshore, because theres no one in darnassus or exodar or even that part of the world, of warcraft. So, whatever race you are, head to westfall after level 12. Start doing the quests there with sam philosophy, loot them all- Also be sure that you finish every single quest in an area before you go visit the town to get other quests. Make a ring for your questing. Such as, if you are bound to jasperlode mine, get all the quests about jasperdole mine, and maybe all the qust that are next to jasperdole mine, and next to that. So you do these all in that particular order to make a ring. You travel and do quests non-stop and return to your town. Sell all the loot you have gained, buy better items, also be sure you do not waste money on little improvements but big ones. For example dont buy a boot with +14 armor benefit but a shoulder slot armor if you havent one. Well since you are down to fast levelling, you shouldn’t be messing with going for any professions since to keep on track with a profession along with levelling you really do need to pay attention to the profession and give it time, which, on this matter, a waste of time.

It is also important that you turn on your best action music on. The classic wow usic isn’t so dragging so you need some action music that you like. So why not James bond? Or lets see, any of horrorist stuff, or that kind of music with a hard and fast beat that you can actually take pleasure even hen you kil simple mobs. It can also be Red hot chili peppers which makes you cy when you are playing. It is a great motivation. Well with all these done you can level fast enough to be the king of the game. So i really hope you follow the tips i have given here, which will certainly take you out of being a stupid noob and take you somewhere. Good luck in h world! -Of warcraft.

Should Children Play Flash Games or Normal Games?

Monday, March 15th, 2010

It is commonly known as computer games have many benefits on humankind, especially on youngsters. But there are many types of computer games as we know today, and it is also a matter of discussion to determine which of these computer games are more beneficial for our children and which of them are less. Some parents think that children should only be playing flash games since they needn’t any complex matter for their entertainment, and they shouldn’t like to play the particular game too long. That normal computer games cause antisocialism and public cowardiness. At this point, parents should first decide that if they are going to evaluate the life for their children as they grow or directly try to give him the best. With evaluation i do mean that, buying a crappy computer first, when hes just a child then as he grows, giving him better and better. This way he would adapt himself as it needs to, when he require harder things to have fun, he will get them, but not before.

However, it is also a fact that flash games do exacty nothing but helping your children do pass time. They do not teach anything, they do not offer anything about the world, they do not guide your child in whatever way he would want to take in life. Yes, some of the normal games actually do that. Your children, after learning the game, starts to see things in the game’s way and if the game is good and qualified enough, this would be a real plus for him, and not actually a minus for him if the game is bad! He learns to solve problems, he learns about different cultures, he learns about history, he learns about life itself, he learns about maybe driving cars, planes, busses and such, he learns about the streets, he can learn about all kinds of thngs depending on what the game is actually about! There can be given numerous variety of instances on these such as, simulator games, strategy games, roleplaying games, action games, racing games and such. All these have things to teach to youth in their own ways. Of course, some of the information your children might acquire from these games may not be real, and it of course may be dangerous for him to think of those particular information to be real. This is why you have to monitor what games he is playing and you have to talk with him about these. You have to guide him on whichever these information are useful and true and whichever is not. That might look like a hard responsibility to take but you alerady took huge responsibility by choosing to have a child.

These normal games i just mentioned up there are not that heavenly blue of course. Some of them might cause addiction and therefore, antisocialism as most people believe that all of them cause it. For that, a careful moderation of the games and the time the child can play is needed. And again, it should be you who do this. You have to choose which game might cause addiction and which game would be better for your children. It is also important that it should be entertaining for your children to play. Otherwise whatever good game it is and whatever awesome information it may contain, however dragging it can be, ther eis no way your children will play it. So first thing you should do is to go to a game store and buy all of the games there and check all of the games if they are worthy or not. And Chose the worthy ones to make your children play it. This way, he will be learning while hes having fun!

Hazards of Computer Gaming

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Yes, it is this topic again, how hazardous is, that spending hours in front of a computer playing games. Parents to their children, wifes to their husbands, husbands to their wifes, brothers to sisters, everyone complains and everyone tells this to whomever seems to have spending too much time over a computer. But is it really that hazardous? Well of course it depends on what are we comparing it with. Every action we take, in this 21th century causes hazard in some sections of our body. That much precent of the populace is smoking, which harms the lungs greatly. Some drink everyday, there we can say goodbye to their livers, some dont even bother to walk to the store, poor legs of theirs, and total body that is gaining intense amount of fat every day. Which part, gaming hurts is, our eyes, as commonly known. But there is also one thing more. After some uncertain time, if one pass that line, it starts hurting the brain too. I am not going to claim it is because of radioactive weaves. It is simply because your mind is focused on something for too long a time, and that particular something isn’t changing. So after a time, your brain gets used to what it has in front of it, gets used to focusing it. Along with eyes, in years of over usage of computer, especially in games, causes your brain to disfunction in world occurances. Such as, one has hard time spotting a butterfly going past his ear, or has hard time hearing footsteps in the house when hes half asleep. This obviously is result of mind numbing. Your reactions, when not about a computer, become slower and slower, you start to have hard time spotting what is going on around you.

Is that all the harm that it can cause? No, as i said earlier, eyes take great amount of damage in same way, staring on to a screen for days and nights, which continues for years. After some time, retina of your eyes get damaged. In front of a computer, staring at it, you do not need much eye action, nor you need to close your eyes. But when you force them open and fix them to one place, in time, your eyes get dried. Yes, tears are something extremely important for health of the eyes and i do not mean crying, but its natural tears. So when you fix them to a position and force them open for countless days. In time, your eyes fail to create tears and your tear glands in your eyes start to decease. This is important because it, in normal means cannot be reversed. Which means that if you stop messing with computers and computer games after you got your tearglands rotten, they do not return to what they were in time. As we all might know, tears help in healthcare of the eyes, something created by the body itself to keep the eyes wet. So, without the tears to keep them wet, the eyes become dried themselves, and it becomes harder to move them, turn them. So you actually damage the outer rim of your eyes slightly, which causes astigmatismia over time. Which is eye rims damaged either vertical or horizontal and clouds your vision. So if you want not to encounter such problems, keep away time to time.

Playing computer games do not of course only harms your body, it has many advantages too. But what are we saying is that, they start harming when you overplay it. Since everything is hazardous when you overdo them. Theres a latin proverb which says, less is profit, average is order, over is harm, and this, i think explains the situation here quite certainly. So, for your own health, play computer games, but not that much!

A Guide to Aion; Strategy, Including How to Accumulate Much Kinah

Monday, March 15th, 2010

To successfully work your way through the levels of Aion, you must have a clear strategy. The game is relentless, and plans should always be made to cover eventualities many levels ahead.

Although there is a lot to think about, Aion strategy can be divided into two parts – the accumulation of Kinah, and smart tactics in the game itself.

Kinah, And How To Get Lots Of Them

Kinah is the currency of the game, just like our regular money. And not surprisingly, a very good strategy is to try to get as much of this as you can so that you can buy all the things that you need to move on to advanced levels.

So there you are – the more Kinah you have, the better off you are, and you will need a heap of it by Level 50.

But how do we make the most of this? Are there some keys to getting more Kinah out of your Aion game play? The answer is a resounding YES.

For starters, don’t pass up anything at all…no matter how small. If you see a dead mob laying in the street, loot them for every Kinah they have. It doesn’t matter how little there is. Over time, they will add up…and quickly.

If you run into any in game NPCs looking for items that you don’t need any longer, sell them. Again, it doesn’t matter for how much. The item is worthless to you anyway.

Look out for enemy drops. Pick them up and sell them. It doesn’t matter how unimportant they are. It doesn’t matter if you only get a Kinah or two for them. It all adds up.

Go hunting whenever you can. There are creatures out there that have magical loot that is worth a lot. You may be in for a tough battle to relieve them of it, but the rewards can be substantial, and you can easily sell these items for much Kinah.

What about those crafted items you are carrying around with you? Do you really need them? If not, sell them. They may be of no use to you, but somebody else will be prepared to pay for them. Sell them for whatever you can get.

Take it even further. Set up your own private store so that other players can buy from you. Trust me on this…if you get enough traffic coming through your store, the Kinah can add up…FAST.

Strategy – It’s Much More Than Brute Force and Currency

OK, you now know a few ways to accumulate Kinah. But you still have to be alive to spend it.

It’s time to put the basics of the game together and talk about strategy.

A sound strategy will get you through this game alive and successful. An unsound strategy will get you killed. It’s really that simple.

Trouble is, most beginning players don’t understand what a sound strategy is simply because they’re focused on the wrong thing…busting some heads.

Battling can certainly be fun and rewarding, but one who is unprepared for battle or takes on battles he is not ready for, is a fool.

So to begin with… know your limitations. If you’re a level one Scout with just a dagger in your hand, you want to be VERY careful about who you confront…no matter what level the character is at. You are the most vulnerable character in the game at this point and can be easily killed. So pick your battles very carefully.

In addition to that, you want to make sure that you do everything you can to prepare yourself for battle such as completing Work Orders, equipping yourself properly, and getting as much Kinah as you can. It is much easier to buy the items you need than it is to kill somebody for them…especially at the lower levels.

Next, you don’t want to become the town bully right off the bat. They say you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. It is quite true. So what you want to do is make friends…lots of them. If you are a Priest, you want to make friends with a Warrior, somebody who can fight your battles for you. If you are a Warrior, make friends with a Priest…somebody who can heal you.

You want to form a solid group as soon as possible. Groups have a much better chance of success than a single character groping in the dark. There is strength in numbers. Don’t ever forget that.

If you want some great tips on strategy and want to reach level 50 quickly, check out the Resource Box below. There is a link there to a review of what I believe is the best guide on the Internet and it’s dirt cheap next to the other ones I’ve seen. It also contains a detailed guide to finding and earning Kinah.

Which Are More Popular? Flash Games or Online Games?

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

This has been a terrible question in everyone’s heads that whether the most popular thing on the internet is either flash games or online games, apart from porn of course heh. Well although there have never made a scientific research about it but i have been apt to think of it logically, thinking of every possiblity and judging from everything that they are about and It related to.

Well, i am going to share it with you all so you can tell me if im right or wrong. Flash games are the type of games which everyone can play and do play in whatever they can find freetime and whenever, such as on laptop, waiting for plane to show up or on train, bored as hell, on phone, or maybe in house, waiting for one’s boyfriend to pick her up. It can be played even in the slightest and minorest of times. Also the fact that they are extremely easy to play, no knowledge is required apart from the knowledge that you have to use a computer, no installation required, no wait time, no search time as they are spread around the web like spiders. But are online games like that? No siree. Online games are generally the most complicated games that has ever invented on earth. You have to first, find it then buy it, and you cant even copy it as it is online, you need an original cd key so pirating is almost impossible. You get into the house and install it. It generally takes ages. Then its not over! You are yet ready to play. First you need to update all of your game cause there have been thausands of bugs reported so the game masters had to make bugfixes for all of them and release patches. Which makes you wait for another couple of hours to be able to play the game. Then you check in with your original cd key and create your account. Finally you are in the game. There are alot of things that you need to choose, server, class, race, stats, all sort of things like that. Which, a newcomer probably fails at doing so.

And after that you are thrown into a pool of spells and abilities and quests which you know nothing about. Well you start to learn and it takes more and more time as you endeavour it more and it takes even MORE time. Its hell of a work. But you know, there are still so many people that do this, it is a match for flash games. This can be only because that some people actually love complicated things, when other people love simple things. For example my sister hates those online games, says they are wadte of time and memory. I cannot agree with her. But i know that people are divided into two in a perspective, about this matter. Those who love simple entertainment and those who can be entertained only through complicated means. I am not going to judge whether is good or bad. But it is obvious that the first likes to play flash games and the latter likes online games, assuming they are all gamers alerady. In fact, i cannot call flash game players, gamers because nothing is ever required to play them. They are so easy! However i should be counting them as customers who use the web for those games so that is what is important. Well, also that it is easy to measure the quantity of players that play online games through the accounts and stuff. At least something average. But it is almost impossible to figure out how many people, how frequently play flash games. There are no registry for it. They are completely anonymus.

So now i came to this point, i give up trying to figure it out. If you ever figure it out please do tell me! And i will tell everyone else! You will be doing the public a great favor by doing so.

Knights of the Old Republic, The Sith Lords, Flaws in the Followup

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

First time i bought the game i was greatly excited that i came home right away, and waited in frontof the computer until it was completely instaled. I ran the game and menu was, although similiar to what we had in Knights of the Old Republic I, was awesome, with that figure, scary one, near the menu. Also the musics were good. Well this time they made me select a jedi class directly instead of selecting a mercenary class. I went for consular as i always did, not because there was a footnote that only experianced players should play it. After that, i got in the game. It was strange at first, there were tones of fragments of story given to me to get what was actually happening around me.

I was so excited that i couldn’t wait to listen all the hologram records that kept most of the story, and went directly for main quest followup. The main characters were way strange compared to the first game, like Kreia, and that Darth Sion which we encounter quite early in the game. It was boring at first to be fighting with droids all the time, and by the way, also Atton looked odd. Whatever, after that, as it should have, i released Atton, continued the quest on Peragus mines. Everyone were dead and only droids were alive along with that assassination droid. Though even some of the droids were alerady damaged, and according to records unknown things were happening since the jedi’s, which is me, arrival. This, at first, did add a strange way to the story but it was nice as it were right then. However, when on the ship, Darth Sion caught us and Kreia went on him, saying strange things that i couldn’t actually understand what she meant. Then, as always in Kotor’s, we started to travel from one planet to another. But all the time the local people acted as if they all were Chaotic Evil, like OH OMG A JEDI KILL IT KILL IT! I mean, oh come on, what on earth could have made the jedi impression which was quite cool, this bad? Just that “Civil War” ? Although its a wonder how the jedis got into a civil war and killed each other. There were mist and anonymousity on the air all the time that i couldn’t solve. It went on and on, none knew what to do, none knew where to go. And unlike knights of the old republic 1, people here knew that i was a jedi. But, now that everyone was acting like they could, and with ‘they’ i mean all the encounters, kill a jedi so easily. Everyone bragging in front of me about their skills, knowing that i am a jedi. Come on..how on earth a simple mercenary can kill a jedi? And then it came that we intercepted the main boss of the game, in the middle of the game and killed him extremely easily. I was like, oh come on dude was this it? But turns out it wasn’t.

But this time, the mystery grows really really big and no one, and i mean no one knows what to do. We tire orselves that much in order to gather the damn jedi masters of the old jedi council, then when we are talking with them, they tell us they are going to strip me off from my force, retards. And even more surprisingly, also ridiculously, Kreia arrives and kills them all with single drain life spell. And i couldn’t do anything. It was so annoying for christ’s sake. Well but anyway, apart from that, as a whole the story was cool and the game too. I advise it.

Is it Good or Bad, The Story Additions of Star Wars Games to Star Wars Saga?

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Most Star Wars fans do already like the star wars games and what they bring to original star wars movie story. But there are still people who disagree with it. They say the games, which are trying to add various and sometimes really irrelevant to original SW movies do make the story grow childish. That it is actually frustrating to see their epic characters being slain by upstarts that are pointed out as players in the games. Or maybe it is stupid to add these kind of extra stories or logic to SW even, and that it must be left what it is alerady, at top of its popularity. I personally disagree to these statements.

It is true that sometimes, in some games the story is twisted and logic is distorted even in some ocasions made fun of. However, don’t any other games bring wider range to SW? Not just something past about Anakin Skywalker’s life but also its past and future included in whole star wars story and logic. Even some of the games have such awesome story that they must be filmed, such as the recent one, The Force Unleashed. Originally a play-station game, it has also been released for PC and considered awesome, for its history. Now that one can even be counted as a necessary movie since it fills alot of blanks about what happened between the periods, the movie 3 to 4, when Anakin became Darth Vader, and Luke, Leia born, to they became 20. It gives 20 years of silence to the history, which is actually a great opportunity to fill in. What irrelevance it might have is trivial when compared to the worth of the whole story. Even with only the cinematics, it is quite an adventure and also in hollywood style! Apart from that, there are Jedi Academy series which tell us about a Kyle Katarn most of the time. Now this guy was never mentioned in anything of SW until these games, and in it, eventhough through the actions he took, was proven enough, he was meant also in past to be a great jedi and good old friend of Luke. This might create a bit of unwanted questions as, where was he during times of Deathstar’s destruction, and war of rebellion? How in hell he became a jedi? As he looks older than Luke himself, he must be trained before Luke, which takes us to times around 3rd movie where all jedi were killed except few survivors that we know are Obi-Wan and Yoda. But who was this Kyle Katarn? Even that he doesn’t look anything more than bantha fodder, as Desann, our great guy appears.

It is said in the game that Desann was trained in Luke’s academy some time ago. Well to be honest i have never seen such a creature, nor heard in any SW movie. But lets pretend it is possible that he could be a mutant or anything like that, since, its the whole galaxy for god’s sake. Apart from these minor nuisances, those games too, add flexibility and range to SW itself. And there in my opinion should always be these kind of star wars games, especially RPG games which add awesome stories, be madee therefore to increase the range of the story and make it for everyone. Also that maybe if someone doesn’t like to watch movies they can play the games instead to learn the story and that could be what makes the thing famous.

What Did Assasin’s Creed Bring to Gaming World?

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Most of us are probably familiar with the game, Assassin’s Creed which was released a year ago and chosen game of the year, it was sold millions. What made the game so popular is quite obvious, its graphics and the world design. But what was it that made such a boom in the graphic works? What was it that many other gamemaker companies couldn’t think of making?

Well, this quite simple. Assasin’s Creed, as a game, used bodies as a semi-solid object and anything else in the game was various solid, mobile, pieces, objects. But wouldn’t that mean scheming tons of different buildings, objects, characters? Nay. It was made, designing every single building, object, character, reflector, animal and every sort of thing in the game as unitable, which means you can add one inside of another. Also that it was possible to make it from perspective to perspective, which means, you can unite two buildings into one, and add a different unition for each perspective so that when you look from north you may see a cathedral with a gigantic patri headquarters and from the south, a gigantic cathedral built near a house, next to it, or on it. And the best part comes as that you can actually add a different view of inside of it. Therefore, all of the buildings in the cities were made uniting basic buildings together and making a whole. Objects are also made this way, uniting those designed object parts into a full object. But characters in fact are made differently. But as you might have noticed alerady there are not many types of characters in the game, as in, 8 different guards, one templar model, 11 different citizen models, altair himself, and other spesific characters, al-muallim etc. How come these characters are able to interact with the part-to-whole united enviorment without edge bugs? Why never our character gets into a corner, an edge and starts falling off the world forever? It is more of a fun! Just because the objects and buildings are all made as solid objects not just image-pasting for given coordinates but prepeared 3D and served so with that given style of programming. It is easy to distinguish a game hich is prepeared this way and a game which is prepeared image-pasting. After the Assassin’s Creed game however, there are still not many games coming up with this tactic. Indeed it is a tiring duty for graphic designers but it is what needs to be done.

Producers are still focusing on improving image pasting qualities, improving images themselves, points of corners they have and softening their edges, adding more layers beneath each other to prevent bugs, and giving them solid points to interact with. Unfortunately this causes more unwanted and retarded things to happen, as you keep running through a tree, there is no difference running through a wall, cause solid points of the tree are given in linear not in its shape. Its shape is just images that are pasted behind those solid point box, which is most generally a cube. So, as Assassin’s Creed II released, people will come to realise that this is actually the style of game making what it should be. If its going to take longer time, concentration and focus, let it be!
